In week #5 of a 10-week Bible-study series (on Facebook Live), author Joshua Joscelyn explores themes from his book, "Repentance From Sin: How Antinomianism Disarmed the Gospel & Not the Sinner." This week's Bible study establishes from Scripture that there can be no doubt: the gospel is a command to repent. Regardless of how the word is defined, it belongs in the gospel. This much is indisputable. And preconditions like repentance and faith do not equate to meritorious works that earn salvation - but they are necessary for the sinner to be eligible for free grace.
