This lesson examines an idea used by JD Crowe and others that has a honky-tonk feel. I show a down the neck version that can be used in solos and as a fill-in lick. I also show a similar idea that can be used in your up-the-neck backup as a replacement for the Six White Horses or In the Mood licks. It works really well when you go to the C (IV) chord. Hope you enjoy!
