Everyone eats. How we do food in the world is not sustainable. The world has a problem. We have spent more than a decade learning how to take things the world calls "waste" apart, and put it back together into the answers for how to feed 9 billion people and maintain our planet. I did a talk in TEDxEastVan in 2015 called "Poop Soup and the Inevitable Global Movement" about the first 10 years of my journey. This will be about the next 20.

TEDxChilliwack 2018 took place on April 14, 2018 at G. W. Graham Theatre in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. The theme of the event was "Time to Reboot". Learn more at http://tedxchilliwack.com. Chris Bush is an entrepreneur... or more rightly said, and entre-manure! In 2008 he built the first of its kind facility in Abbotsford that cooks manure from a lot of farm animals, and supplies the natural gas that comes into your homes and businesses in the area. He sometimes says he's "Saving the world, one steaming pile at a time"! He has lead tours across Sweden to learn, taught how to do food systems in the Middle East, and scoured the planet for the best solutions to the global grand challenges of humanity, food, energy, water and education. Most recently he began work with a world leading think tank called XPRIZE, to design competitions so we can all work together to solve these threats. Today he will present on The Great Reboot for Agriculture. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
