Visitors glad shutdown didn't completely throw a wrench in Yosemite plans

The most notable affect of the government shutdown we see in the Central Valley is in our national parks. Yosemite National Park, and others in the area, are currently operating with reduced staff.

However, the parks do remain open, and visitors who made plans months ago are glad nothing is too affected.

This weekend marks Lawrence Kwak's second visit to Yosemite, coming from Cupertino with his family. For him, it's the breathtaking sights that make the trip.

However, on the way in Saturday, there was one sign that took his breath away in a different way. It's currently at entrances around the park and it reads, “No services due to the government shutdown.”
