A liquor store clerk in northwest Fresno was a victim of an armed robbery Sunday night. Fresno police responded to the scene just before around 9:40 p.m. near Ashlan and Marks avenues at Dan's Liquor. Lt. Larry Bowlan says a man wearing dark clothing and a mask walked into the store with a black handgun. He says the suspect hopped over the counter and demanded money from the only working employee at the front of the store.
