This is a RARE spectacle. CSX has not run an all EMD 6-axle powered Conrad Yelvington Rock Train for AGES. The last time I saw such a thing was in Tim's (FloridaTrainKid) video from March 26, 2009 of FRKX trodden K978 through Cypress Creek Station. This looks like an event in history as I catch an Ex. Conrail "Conjob" SD60I still with her RS5T, in YN2 and a SD70MAC running 6300 tons of limerock.

But first, we take a QUICK look at the empty Florida Rock local on October 15.

10.15.2010
CSX Lehigh Spur (SXL 1045.51 NW 107 AVE)
CSX Y220-15
CSX 4308 (GP39-2)
CSX 4303 (GP39-2)
4 Boxcars (you can merely see the first but I wanted to take pictures from my point-and-shit, which is almost at the end of its service for videographical operations for Distant To Ojus Productions)
70 Empty NSC Florida Rock Hoppers (Note I sped the clip up through it since the train LOVES to drag feet on the Lehigh :/)

And here's the good part.
Coral Way (SXH 1043.21)
10:00 PM 10.17.2010

Aero Squadron (SXH 1039.77)
10:21 PM

CSX O721-17
CSX 8752 (SD60I ex. Conrail!!!!!! YES!!! EMD MUSCLE!)
CSX 4818 (SD70MAC)
63 loaded CYDX, AEX, GBRX, CYXX, etc hoppers

I got word that the power was in, and I did not expect my Chipotle dinner on Sunday to time well with O721. I was surprised and took no chances once I saw the FRED from the Palmetto Bridge over SR 826 (Approximately SXH 1044.80) to catch it by Coral Way. Speed and the arbitrary darkness enticed me to go to Aero Squadron for a second take. We beat it with 10 minutes to spare. The last time two BIG EMDs were paired on the Krome side had to have been in the age of foreign power or even so when the Bone Valley power came down this way.
