In early 2009 three Swiss friends - Guido, Pascal and Damian - decided to go on a roadtrip through Australia from Darwin to Perth. Little did we know during our planning that we had chosen the Wet Season for our journey. Only days prior to our arrival, Cyclone Laurence formed over the Indian Ocean and hit the coast south of Darwin just as we arrived. This is part one of our story...
