A woman is fighting for her life at the Port of Spain General Hospital, after she was struck by a vehicle on Sweet Briar Road in St Clair. Reports are that the lady was heading North on Maraval Road and attempted to cross Sweet Briar, when a white Range Rover, travelling South on Maraval Road, turned West into Sweet Briar Road. The driver claimed she did not see the pedestrian and only heard the sound of colliding with something, and stopped immediately. The woman was revived by medical responders who took her to the Port of Spain General Hospital with head injuries.
