Okay, so the goal of this game is to make matches of the same three symbols or more to gain points. There is an 'Easy' mode, a 'Hard' mode, and a 'Zen' mode. Hard nets you more points than Easy of course and since you get three points per match in easy and ten in Hard per match of three symbols, so play on Hard if you want some decent points. Zen mode gives 1 point per any match that you make, but has no time limit. Now this may seem good for beating AAA's score if you have enough patience if for only one major problem: when the board is out of moves and resets, so does your score in Zen mode. For Easy and Hard modes, note that the time limit goes down fast, so match vertical columns of three or more so that you can make more combos and clear the board more. Horizontal rows only clears one space in each column of how big the match was, so it clears less. Matches of more than three symbols at once or combo of matches made with one match gives you more time, but you should focus on making any matches you can to not waste time searching for a way to make that match of four or five symbols happen, just go for the match of three that you can make and quick! Don't worry about running out of moves, when this happens, the board resets, letting you have a look at the board before you play. Don't enter in just yet, examine where your next move is and plan for where the pieces will fall when you make a match to save time on looking for a match. So the symbols: Pink Gem, Orange Sun, Green Tree, Yellow Pyramid-With-Arms/Geb, Black Scarab, Pale-Yellow Shrine, and Blue Anubis Head are all the symbols you are supposed to match. Red Bomb can also be matched, though if it falls a distance more than one column, it will explode, destroying everything above where it fell in the column it's in. Lucky Coin is a wild card, it will match any symbol right next to it that will make a match. Use this for the big combos if you can, but in a pinch, just use it to replace a symbol in a match of three symbols. Ankh is one that if you manage to get it to the bottom of the screen, it will destroy the entire column and row it's in and award you with a ton of points! Painted Scarab is the same as Ankhs except they only destroy the column they are in. Same amount of points though! TPOSG is the Phantom Orange Shirt Guy, or the guy that programmed the game! He is a rare tile, as expected, but if you get his face to the bottom row, he will destroy the entire board and give you 500 points! The last three items would be great...if it wasn't for the fact that you are under a time limit and don't have the time to try to work out a series of moves to move these to the bottom. If you can find a way, fine, easy points, but don't waste your time if you can't find a path right away. You can pause the game three times by clicking on the hourglass that is slowly ticking your time down...you have a maximum limit of 60 seconds in there. Use this time to take a breather and type most of a cheat code except for the last letter. 'pyramibread' finds you a match. Once you've successfully highlighted a match, hit the CTRL key and ALT key at the same time while using your other hand to match the matches that are highlighted. Doing this allows you to use the code over and over again without typing it in again and again and wasting time. 'plzsutekcanihavemoretime' adds 30 seconds to the timer. Don't use this when it's mostly full, as the maximum time you can have is 60 seconds, which you start with, so don't waste this too early, your time is precious as it gives you more time to find combos and more points! One use per game. So what I do for this game is at the start, I pause the game. I type 'pyramibrea', unpause, type 'd', match the match highlighted by the code, press ALT and CTRL at the same time, spamming it as I make matches. Now here, there is room for flexibility. You can either go for what the computer tells you or you can make your own decision. Do you see a better match before the computer can make a match? Every-time a match is made, the board pauses for a moment to make the noise, so take that time to scan the board for a better match. I go for any vertical match and any 3+ symbol matches when I can. Or course, if you can't find any before the AI does it for you, go for that first since you are trying to get points and save time. When the hourglass sand is almost out of the top half of the glass, I pause the game, type 'plzsutekcanihavemoretim' (make sure you don't finish it in the pause window, it will not add time and it's one use per game only), unpause, type 'e', pause, type 'pyramibrea', unpause, type 'd' to reactivate the code and repeat the method above!
