An old woman who lives in a trailer was over run in porch cats having kittens. She had 30 cats in all. Within four days, all 19 kittens, including six newborns and their mom, were placed in foster care. SafeHaven Humane, a no kill shelter in Albany, Oregon, took in the 8 older kittens and KATA, a Sweet Home, Oregon based rescue run by some very hard working women took in the mom with six newborns and five six week old kittens I coaxed out from under the trailer. In addition, nine of the ten adults the woman will keep, have been fixed thanks to money from nonprofit Poppa Inc.
