Budget cuts may force the Harford County Public Schools to cut as many 175 positions before the summer, and teaching positions are not off limits. The district's new school superintendent hinted some months ago that cuts were a real possibility, but he said he's doing his best to try and lessen the impact. The proposed cuts will more than likely reach the classroom, affecting class size, class schedules and, most of all, where teachers could end up working by next fall.
