Who is Bernie Sanders? Bernie Sanders might be America's last hope. Inspirational historic footage displays the true past perspective between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton regarding minority issues, African-American causes, and general Civil Rights. #BlackLivesMatter and Bernie has always supported minorities. He endorsed Jesse Jackson for presidency, and at the time U.S. News & World Report ranked Sanders as one of America's best mayors. It's surprising that the Black community, especially elderly woman have not come to understand Bernie's true history. I believe if African-American women in majority truly knew Bernie's history vs. Hillary's history (i.e. Hillary Clinton campaigning for Barry Goldwater as a Republican) they might think twice who they vote for.

His recent interaction with the bird, albeit symbolic, was very touching to see. Even the wildlife is in peace with Sanders. Thus the acclaimed nickname, Birdie Sanders. This interaction was so symbolic given that Sanders is the most progressive candidate on the environment between the two main parties. This grassroots campaign video highlights the past perspective of the two remaining democratic candidates, and why Bernie is America's last hope.

Although Hillary Clinton claims to support the black minority causes, she initially campaigned for Barry Goldwater, who voted against the Civil Rights Bill and was known for supporting racist perspectives, like racial segregation. Her husband, Bill Clinton helped bring into action the crime bill, which put thousands of young African-Americans in jails for non-violent offenses in a police system that contains pockets of institutionalized racism (i.e. Baltimore).

Bernie Sander's history is one of fighting against bigotry, hate crimes, and racism in United States of America. Not to mention that he has always been irrevocably against Wall Street; always fighting for the working class of America. In 1962, Bernie Sanders led a sit-in against racial segregation, which was one of the first civil rights demonstrations in the North. Bernie Sanders was also arrested for fighting against racial discrimination, leading a housing desegregation movement in Chicago campuses.

Can you feel the Bern?
