November 10th marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Friedrich Schiller,one of Germany's greatest writers. As part of year-long anniversary events,Schiller's hometown of Marbach staged a rock version of one of his most famous poems,the Song of the Bell,with rockstar Wolf Maahn playing the part of Schiller. Even today the poet's words continue to inspire young artists.
