Northwest Detective Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspect who robbed Wayne Fresh Coffee Shop at 4909 Wayne Avenue.

On Saturday 8/29/15 at approx 4:20pm Police responded to a radio call for ‘Robbery’ at the Wayne Fresh Coffee Shop located at 4909 Wayne Avenue. Upon arrival they spoke with complainant (employee) who stated the offender argued with her over service. The offender grabbed a large box of chips and candy off the counter and walked out of the store without paying. The complainant went out after the offender telling her to stop and the offender punched her in the face with a closed fist. The offender fled on foot and complainant went back to the store to call 911. Complainant was in stable condition with swelling and a bruise to the left side of her cheek but she refused medical treatment at this time.

Suspect Description: A 25-30 year old black female, black dress, heavy build
