Since September, MSF is distributing protection kits in Monrovia. The teams are aiming at delivering a total of 70,000, covering a population of 245,000. The kits, which are distributed in two buckets, contain chlorine, soap, gloves, gowns, plastic bags, a spray bottle, goggles and masks. The protection kit is not designed to provide medical care – it is an emergency solution for families with someone at home with symptoms, and for those who need to disinfect their home after a family member dies.
