Heavyweight boxer Gerry Cooney was in Harrisburg Dec. 9, 1985, hanging out with friends at Syd's nightclub in the Holiday Inn-Center City when a fight broke out. Cooney's bodyguard, Robert G. Wesnofske, was knocked out by Harrisburg Police detective Richard A. Stilo.
