Mary Kay Museum is a nice activity to do for free while you are in the Dallas area as its location in Addison is just a few minutes away from downtown Dallas.
In it, you will be able to spend a couple hours doing a self-guided tour about the history of the brand, its founder and her family and how it came to be a staple in American pop culture, with the pink cars and whatnot.
It is particularly interesting if you are in any way related to the branding industry, whether you are in marketing, public relations, publicity, advertising, or of course direct sales.
The exhibit showcases memorabilia, press clippings and history of the brand since its birth in 1963 when Mary Kay Ash launched it.
