Sri Lanka has been thrown into a deeper political crisis after one man was killed as an ousted minister forced his way into his office on Sunday. This comes after President Maithripala Sirisena abruptly sacked Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and his cabinet, and swore in ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa to replace him. Police said one of Ranatunga's security guards opened fire on the crowd, killing one and injuring two. The shooter has been arrested.
