Nine-year-old Saliah Franchesca received the best Christmas surprise ever when her father returned home from his work placement in the United Arab Emirates. According to GMA News, Martin Flores Navarro initially planned to return to the Philippines in December 2019, but later decided to take a holiday to surprise his daughter for the 2018 Christmas season. The Balikbayan box he jumps out of is an item that is commonly sent overseas by the people of the Philippines, and Navarro’s daughter was delighted this one contained a beloved family member over a regular Chrismas present.
