The world’s population is expected to grow 30% in the next 30 years. We’ll need to double our current food production to keep up. UGA Engineers are using drones and rovers to help scientists analyze crop heath and growth patterns. They can also scan and ID distinguishing features… like facial recognition for crops. All this data will help plant geneticists create new high-yield crops to feed our growing population.
