Across the street from the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York City, people from Cameroon, Sri Lanka, Tibet and other parts of the world demonstrated for their causes. But elsewhere in New York, the city hardly noticed that international leaders were meeting, or that police had stepped up security in response. Carolyn Weaver has a report.
