NOTE: On the Day of Resurrection, the Warsaw Opera Choir’s recording from the early 1920s presents one of the most popular Easter songs in the Polish religious tradition. Here, it is sung more like a hymn, however in the churches today, during the Resurrection mass it is performed in a more lively tempo, more like a joyous marching towards the Christ’s Grave, to see it open and empty. Hallelujah! 
