Along with pawnbrokers,auction houses are also benefitting from the financial crisis. In recent years,Brazilians have made the most of easy credit,with even poor earners able to afford new cars and washing machines.But now,with many people unable to keep up with their loan payments,the bailiffs are busy. Outside the city of Sao Paulo,South America's leading auctioneer Sodré Santoro is currently selling off some 200 cars a day.
