Fort Horsted is one of the forts arround medway (I will make a video about medways forts soon). Many of Medways forts are abandoned but this one has been opened up as a business estate (It is a very novel business estate, and it is very secure with just one way in and out). The manager showed me arround the fort. (The public do not normally get to see inside this fort). From the main gate there are 3 passages (all cleaned up and posh looking) that leads to different areas of the fort for businesses. beyond that there is a tunnel that goes around the perimeter, which is nice and unaltered (some sections are pitch black without a torch). Coming of the perimeter tunnel there is a passage that goes down a long way and goes under the moat and to a small room, which has drawing on the wall (dating from 1914). Only a few people a year get to see these each year as they are very delicate (simple touching the wall would rub them off).
