After thoughts. 
While I am standing by the experience I have shared in this video. I am wearing this foundation again today. I am liking how it is sitting on my skin and lasting a bit better. 

What I did differently.
I gave buffing it in with a brush a try again (as the box instructions say to use this method) but this time used the Nourishing formula of the Make Up For Ever primer rather than the Smoothing one I used in this video. I have also been moisturizing and exfoliating the heck out of my skin, eliminating some of my rough patches, allowing it sit smoother. I did still have to go in with a separate concealer to cover all of my spots though. But the over all look of the skin is more skin like this time and less heavy makeup-y looking. Those of you who just need something to even out skin tone, have only mild spots and no dry skin patches, this would work well for you.
