In total for this entire 16 day trip the free time add-ons were about $250 USD which certainly fills up each day for maximum cultural experiences and entertainment. Asia is extremely affordable so if you're budgeting for this trip you really don't need to spend much on top of the overall trip fee (totally depends on how much you drink). I found the cheapest meal in Laos for just over $4 AUD for a large chicken baguette and a pawpaw & mango juice. It was really delicious, I could of lived off of it.
