JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Development of North Eastern Region and Prime Minister Office (PMO) Dr Jitendra Singh today laid foundation stone of Institute of High-Altitude Medicinal Plants (IHAMP) here at Bhaderwah.
The prestigious institute to be established at a cost of Rs 100 crore will act as a pioneering centre for the research of medicinal plants and also help the farmers in cultivation of medicinal plants in scientific ways.
It will work towards introduction of new technologies in the cultivation of local medicinal plants through intensive research, training and capacity building of the farmers.
