This is a revisit to a beautiful and almost forgotten spin off model from the early/mid-1980s. For some of you it will be pretty obvious which Tamiya model was the inspiration for this one.  

This model was my very first RC model back in the 1980s and today it is the beginning of a new revitalizing project. Here in December I received a donor unit that I won on Ebay for the price of 1 Euro (+ shipping). Sadly my own unit needed a new transmitter and had lost the decals and some minor parts. Hope to see it run again and restored to it's full glory soon.

What are your general thoughts or first impressions of this model? Do you have any personal experience with it? Any information connected to it? Personally I would certainly love to hear all about it. Community feedback is truly the greatest award when displaying one’s collection.

This calender consists of short videos recorded in 4K. No editing. All models featured are either new or vintage Tamiya RC car models or vintage Taiyo and Nikko RC car models. No High End Models. At this point, I have no idea if these short videos will prove interesting for anybody. I just thought it might be a different way of displaying parts of my RC collection in 4K Ultra High Definition. Please feel free to skip these daily videos if they prove uninteresting for you. In the nearby feature you will be able to find longer videos of every model featured in these episodes, including information and specifications. Please feel free to search for a particular unit in my channel. It might already be there.
