This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. What will happen to us and our relationships, decisions, interactions and feelings, when the instruments we now wear will be tattoed or even injected? Will we be able to remember that we have them on us? And, what will happen if we will not? Discover in this talk the unintended - and not necessarily beneficial - consequences of the embedded devices. Jesús Gorriti is director of the Madrid office of the design and innovation company Fjord, which now belongs to Accenture. He works for clients such as Citi, Harvard Medical School, ESPN, BBVA and Kohl's, supervising a team of more than 35 people. His curiosity for design brought him to work for product companies such as Idealista, design consultants such as Designit, or to design videogames in the Vancouver offcie of Electronic Games. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
