FLW 8950 right hook

It may appear that this wasn't a close call but you can't see that I'm braking with both my hand brake and by "back pedaling" on the fixed gear. Not a fan of the right hook. This behavior when misjudged will seriously hurt or kill someone. The main question is "Is it worth it?". Are those few seconds worth the cascade of problems that will result for both of us if you misjudge my speed and the distance?
