http://www.nramuseum.org Pistol is accompanied by a receipt signed by Jamess mother. Cam Edwards speaks with Senior Curator Phil Schreier about a Smith & Wesson pistol owned by Zerelda Samuel, the mother of famous outlaw Jesse James. Zerelda made a business of selling what she claimed to be her sons personal effects, and this pistol comes with a hand-written receipt in her name. The museum displays the pistol and receipt together in a recreation of a famous still life painted by William Harnett. http://www.nranews.com/#/nationalfirearmsmuseum/VideoModule/CurCor%20Gun%20Ascribed%20to%20Jesse%20James.xml
