Being a great Sandfish, protector of the lands stretching from the Continent to the East to the very Edge of the World. Its Scales create a curious Pattern of Hues, containing all the blues of the Sea. The People of the East liken its appearance to a Wyrm that dances in the night Sky, and so do they call it the Blue Wyrm, and revere it as an Anima of Shadow. 

BattleIts abilities vary depending on whether it's in the water or not, but aren't that big a deal. You can keep it busy by Dispeling its buffs. However, Slyt is not immune to Sleep and Oil, so you can use the Nihopaloa trick to "Sleep", "Oil" it and blast him with high Level Fire Magick spells. 

Slyt is also summoned when you're fighting against another Elite Mark, Shadowseer, along with Phoenix, Fenrir, and Pandaemonium. Use Firaga or Ardor, and it will go down quickly, as it is the weakest boss in the Pharos.
