In the island of San Cristobal, in the Galapagos archipelago, three 800-kilowatt wind power turbines have recently been built atop of a hill. They will generate half the island's electricity and help the Galapagos reduce its reliance on diesel, which is used in generators that provide power to the local residents. Footage by Diego Añazco.
