"'Life is Like Monkey Bars...you have to let go to move forward."

This reminds me of a story I heard long ago.
Thank you Carrie.

The trapeze is a metaphor for change, how we think about and accept change in our life.

What the heck am I talking about?

As a trapeze artist, you must let go of the old bar in order to be ready for the new bar coming your way. You must, for a brief moment, suspend yourself in mid-air.

People fear change. They hang on to the comfortable, they don't want to let go because they hate the feeling of hanging in mid-air. Even though they know they want to move forward.

In order to let go of the past and grasp the future, you must take a risk and lose the security of the old to reach for the opportunity of the new. Don't fear the suspended in mid-air feeling!

The only way you can grab the new bar is to let go of the old bar. Yes, you will feel exposed, naked, out on a limb. Your heart may stop when you let go of the bar.

I know you can reach for change. I know you can move forward.

What do you want to change in your life?
