I just got a 4K capture device today, and I wanted to test it out on one of the best looking 4K games on the PS4, Ratchet & Clank. I noticed there are some dropped frames, which seems to be happening on the USB before I even start encoding, so it's not my computer, but likely my USB chip isn't fast enough to carry the 3gbps necessary to capture 4K at a constant 30fps. So I plan to find a new faster USB card to test this out with again in the future, but this will at least give you an idea of the quality you can expect from this device if I use it in the future for one of my movies. Current ideas on what I could use it for: Horizon Zero Dawn (haven't played it yet, so I don't know whether I'll be making a movie or not) The Last of Us Remastered The Ezio Collection Maybe the WW1 missions in AC Syndicate if I decide to do those. Also, for those of you wondering, my Rise of the Tomb Raider movie will be coming this weekend! Unfortunately, it won't be 4K as I captured it months ago before I got this capture device, but I *am* using the supersampling mode, so there is some enhancement compared to the standard 1080p version.
