Alison Foreman, Executive Director of Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels, is here to tell us about CAPABLE, an exciting, new, data-driven program championed through a national partnership of Meals on Wheels American and Habitat International. CAPABLE is built around the principle of providing seniors what they want and need to achieve their health and wellness goals, to remain at home, and to maintain access to their community Manage a team of 9 employees to execute the daily operations of delivering 200 meals to homebound clients in Eastern Washtenaw County. Ensuring that the fleet of vehicles is maintained, routes are optimized for efficiency and that all clients are receiving two meals and a safety check daily, weekly produce delivery.
