Displayed here is a screen-accurate REPLICA 1968 Planet of the Apes gorilla rifle stock fitted for a real .30 cal M-1 carbine.

This model is a "satin" version.

This amazing replica was meticulously patterned and detailed by master Hollywood modelers to match the original rifles used in the classic 1968 Planet of the Apes film.

Painstaking amounts of time and attention were paid to even the smallest of details while re-creating this sci-fi cinema icon.

Unlike the original movie props, which were made from simple pine wood, there is no wood anywhere on this prop. The expert painters are fooling your eyes!

The stock is a composite of carbon-fiber, fiberglass, and epoxy resins, expertly detailed and unlike the original wooden movie props, these epoxy replicas have been "trued-up" so that gunsmiths can accurately "bed" .30 cal M1 carbines into the stocks.

Each replica is finished with a hi-gloss automotive clear-coat (this model has been sanded to a "satin" finish) to protect the finish from strong armed gorilla soldiers in the field!
