This song (released in 1982 and not charting) gets down to brass tacks pretty quick. On a bigger label like Epic, I'm surprised it wasn't a hit. From the little I could find about the lady, she did harmony vocals on a Waylon Jennings album (alongsideJessi Colter), and also worked in non-performer roles for labels such as Capricorn and Columbia.
