Thirumavalavan reply to duraimurugan comment on dmk vck alliance tamil news live CHENNAI: On the back of perceived strains within the DMK front in wake of treasurer Duraimurugan recent statement that only Congress and IUML were in alliance with his party, VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan on Tuesday clarified that there were no differences in the front. He called on DMK president MK Stalin at the DMK party headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, and discussed the latest political scenario in the state. Speaking to reporters after meeting Stalin, he said, “Our friendship is strong.” The meeting had been scheduled a week ago. Earlier, Thirumavalavan said, “What Duraimurugan said was a practical statement and reiterated what I have said earlier. Several friendly parties are standing with DMK in its fight for issues concerning Tamil Nadu and its people. This should be taken forward as an alliance. I had urged DMK president MK Stalin to make the necessary announcement."
