Feb. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Pond, an interest-rate strategist at Barclays Plc, talks with Bloomberg's Betty Liu about the Federal Reserve's decision to raise its discount rate for the first time in three years.
Policy makers increased the discount rate to 0.75 percent from 0.50 percent, saying the move was intended as a further normalization of the Federal Reserve's lending facilities." (Source: Bloomberg)
