Zeca Schall was born in Angola, but he's lived in Germany since 1988. He became a German citizen and joined the conservative CDU and now lives in Hildburghausen in the eastern state of Thuringen, where he's active in his party's state election campaign. One CDU election poster shows Schall and other citizens with State Premier Dieter Althaus. That's made Schall a target of harassment by members of the extreme-right NPD. They've dismissed him as a quota-Black ,threatened him in the streets and in the Internet and told him to go back to Africa. As a result,Schall now receives police protection and prosecutors have launched an investigation of the NPD.
