WAG 7 is the one type of Electric Locomotive of Indian Railways. It is the 7th class Of Wide Gauge's(W) AC Charged(A) and Freight dedicated(G-Goods) locomotives.Built by Chittaranjan locomotive Works & Bhel. Jhansi to Rdso specification. It is an updated version of indian Locomotive Class WAP-4B locomotive with high capacity transformer, rectifier,traction motor compressor and other matching associate equipments.The first WAG-& locomotive was Inagurated on 3rd August 1992, and christened the name ''SHANTIDAN'' in Honour of Mother Teresa.This is Controlled by atap Changer. Indian railway is going to achive 7000000 tons of traffic, WAG 7 is the main stay of loco. in the Locomotive Vehicale Market WAG is the more economical option and one of the most affordable in the world.
