Originally streamed live on facebook. In this weeks episode I took a look at painting and I think we drew the conclusion that painting isn't dead. I showed Freddie how to mix pigment into medium and we took at look at your art and answered your questions during 'The Crit' We all voted on if Yayoi Kusama is bananas or brilliant. I was joined by my special guest Nigel Fairbrother who bought in some of his paintings. We took a look at some more artworld rotters and decided that Spot the Dog was art. I also did a quick rundown of the best selling living artists. Homework this week is to make a painting in whatever medium you choose but paint ONE WORD that describes what painting means to you eg. Excited, chellenged, free etc... and send your work to [email protected] Artschool goes out every week on a monday at 7pm GMT on my facebook page if you'd like to join me :) https://www.facebook.com/MrStuartSemple/ Love Stuart x
