Beautifully balanced and very responsive. The offset soundhole takes some getting used to, but it really seems to make a difference in the tone. The bass is round and full while the trebles are sweet and clear. After 15 years with Stefan Sobell, Nigel Forster is enjoying the freedom to dive into his craft and you players are the lucky beneficiaries. Here he's taken his balanced and strong Model C and offset the soundhole. As Al mentioned it seems to change how the bass behaves and Al found it very easy to record. I enjoy how much sound you get in the driver's seat, it acts a bit like a soundport. But it all comes down to tone for us and this one has it in spades, ringing trebles with endless sustain, full, round bass that satisfies the soul.
