I finally, after much experimentation found a way to easy kill this guy, without Overdrive. My purpose was to find a way to Auto-Battle him, and here it is. Hope it helps!

I replaced an earlier video that had some extra stuff in it that I didn't notice. This one should be better... at least for me.
