The drive from Kingman AZ to Laughlin NV.  Start out on Hwy 93, keep to the right and merge unto Hwy 68 through Golden Valley AZ, then all the way into Bullhead City AZ.  Turn right at the bridge that takes you over the Colorado River.  You're then in the state of Nevada, Laughlin.

At about 12 miles from Laughlin, you begin quite a steep decent down in altitude the rest of the way.  Some people experience popping of th ears, caused from a large change in altitude, sorta like a ride in a jet plane.

We went in August, very hot.  Be sure and drink plenty of liquids in the summer out this way.
