So the same place as last time held another VGC tournament today. This one was actually sanctioned by Nintendo though, meaning it would count for season ratings. We got an even bigger turnout this time, over 50 people in the tournement. The stage was set for a very fun day... So, first round, you might recognise this guy. Yeah, the one other guy from my uni Pokesoc who made it to the top cut last time, matched up with me in the first round. I think the organisers were conspiring against us. You'll see my team is the same as last time, with several new additions. First, a new Trick Room setter. I'd actually intended to use an Aromatisse last time, but I couldn't get hold of an Aroma Veil one in time. Well now no longer. Ahh, sweet Taunt immunity. The others... well you'll be seeing them later. This guy too used some of the same, some different. You might notice the Aegislash. Yes, his is an exact copy of mine, right down to the Weakness Policy. Well, they say immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And I guess I'm flattered. (A actually kinda thought I was being original with that Aegislash, but oh well) We both played decently here, but a combination of threat analysis and outpredicting Protect won me the day. A pretty good start. Pity things were about to change...
