I'm back from MACNA, it was a ton of fun, but i'm glad to be back in the fish room. It's hard to leave for vacation during the middle of a DIY project of this scale - so i'm back at it!

A few questions I was asked:
1. The endlers in with the turtles appear to be a hybrid of lime green, red black bar, and maybe a little orchid, but mostly lime green. They are not for sale.
2. I talked to a number of fish food vendors at MACNA, and the general consensus was that cichlid foods claiming to work well for one lake vs the other is mostly a marketing ploy - find the nutritional needs for your species, and find the freshest food with the least fillers and you'll be on the right track
