The Aeroleg allows paraplegic pilots to fly helicopters and other aircraft. The device is shown and explained by electrical engineer and inventor Captain McQuillan. Basic devices in mechanical engineering are used (pneumatic ram, solenoid valve). Creating a reliable machine with safety backups, approved by the FAA proved to be an engineering feat.
