South African duo who were also very accomplished solo artists in their own right. Maureen Moore hails from Cape Town. She appeared on the Duane Eddy, John D Loudermilk and John Gary tours of South Africa in the 1960s. She won SARI's in 1964 and 1965 for Best Female Country and Western Singer. In 1966 she went to the USA where she made several TV appearances. Ben E Madison was born on 14 November 1931. He started his career as a member of the group “Die Ruiters”, before going solo. Initially he only sang covers of well-known English songs, but eventually focused more on the Afrikaans language, also becoming an accomplished writer of Afrikaans songs. A number of the tracks on this album comes from his pen. This song is off the album "Net Vir Jou", released in 1969. It was written by Ben E Madison.
